I love lemonade very much. Ever since I was little I have loved lemons because they are sour. Lemonade can be made with other fruit flavors mixed in such as raspberry strawberry, kiwi, and much more. Once I went to a restaurant and ordered a mango lemonade. I was very delicious and refreshing. Because, however, it had sugar it made me thirsty for more. When our waitress came I asked for a free refill she told me that you cannot get free refills of lemonade and that you must pay two dollars more. I could not believe it!
At restaurants you are guaranteed free refills on all fountain drinks but not lemonade. That's absurd!I don't want to quit drinking the sweet lemonade but I get so thirsty that I need refills. I do not like sodas or any other fountain drinks, just lemonade. What do I do?

Family Folklore (memoir 3
My family went on a vacation once. It was so long ago the dinosaurs were still around. My two cousins, two brothers, two grandmas, two aunts and I were all headed to Florida. It was so far away, the plane ride lasted for an entire week. when we got there we did hundreds of fun activities, but no one could forget the time we had at the beach house.
In the two-story beach house you can lean over the banister of the upper level and see down to the level below. One of my brothers leaned over the edge with a three four long glob of spit dangling out of his mouth. He had intended on sucking back into his mouth but just as grandma happened to walked past, it dropped straight into her hair. Everyone stood frozen solid, All but grandma who hadn't even noticed the giant loogie on her head. After what seemed like hours, she walked into another room and shut the door behind her. We all breathed in unison because we'd held our breath for all those minutes. We waited and listened and suddenly we heard a scream coming from the other room that was so loud some people back home in Utah heard it! We all ran in to one of the tiny bedrooms and hid in the closet that was so small mice in it felt claustrophobic. When my grandma finally found us we looked up at her and beheld that she was so mad her hair was on fire!
My two brothers were on the lower level and my cousins and I were on the upper level. My brothers each took their sandals off and threw them into the air and my cousins and I would lean over and try to catch them. Just as my brother threw his shoe up to us my eighty-million year old great, great, great, grandma walked underneath and with a loud boom, the flip-flop hit her right in the head!
You must understand my grandma is a strong democrat and loathes George W. Bush. If he strolled by and she happened to have a gun in her hand, she'd shoot him. He was on the television so she was already in a bad mood. After being hit in the head with a plastic sandal she was angrier than she'd ever been before. She screamed so loud that Utah noticed the strange noise again. One of my brothers flew up a flight of stirs without touching any steps, leaving the other brother downstairs with grandma where he would receive a ten-minute long lecture.

Metaphor Madness (memoir 2)
Life is a roller coaster. We all have our ups and our downs. When you are having a great time and loving life, the car is slowly traveling upward. When you are discouraged and depressed, however, you are zooming down a hundred feet from the top. There are times when our lives are just fine but suddenly everything is turned upside down, the loop de loops. There are the corkscrews where we are spinning in circles and confused, these are the times when our lives are hectic and busy. Air keeps flying past us, just as time does, flaring our cheeks out wide like in classic cartoons. Just as roller coasters are different, so are our lives. No two are exactly the same. Roller coasters are individually diverse, and so are people. We all have different thoughts, feelings, and emotions.
Most everyone’s lives have many happy times. When I was three years old my grandmother took me to see a ballet. Unlike my older cousins she also brought, who whined and cried throughout the entire show, I sat contempt in my seat and stared at the beautiful dancers. A few years later my grandma let me take ballet lessons. When we went in to purchase my first pair of ballet slippers, my teacher whispered to my grandma, “Oh yes, she’s got natural talent and will do very well!” I was so excited on my first day and not at all nervous. I couldn’t wait until I was older and better when I would dance en pointe like the older girls. I have been dancing ballet ever since. Last year in January my class started pointe. (Where you dance on your toes) It was the happiest time of my life because it was what I had been waiting for since I was little! At first it was very difficult but with much effort and practice I was soon very balanced and able to accomplish very complicated steps.
Throughout my younger years there were ups and downs, though, that made ballet much less enjoyable. In level one I was made fun of for being the “Teacher’s pet” and had few friends in my class. In level three the new teacher was strict and was often angry with us making class hard to attend. But through my roller coasters ups and downs I stuck with it and now I am at a point where I hardly ever have downs at all. We have all had the great moments of the ups where we wish we could just stay there forever looking down at the great view, but we have also had the down where we are plummeting down into destruction and want nothing but to ride back up to the top. But roller coasters aren’t made that way, they only travel forward. We have to keep moving forward. Life is a roller coaster and we are strapped in the car whether we wish to be or not. We might as well sit back, relax and enjoy the ride.

Getting to Know You Music Style (Memoir 1)
Chelsea loves music. She enjoys many types of music but she especially fancies musicals because of their simplicity. Even though the notes sung and played may be scrambled all over the musical scale, she finds the particular genre to be easy listening. One of her favorite musicals is Wicked. She loves the story it portrays but she finds love in the music. Chelsea loves the song For Good in particular. She finds it to be a wonderful song because is uplifting yet peaceful and calm all at once. She listens to it when she’s missing someone or she’s simply in a quiet mood. The lyrics make her picture her and her “Besties” hanging out together. When she hears it she reminisces on the summer years ago when she would sing it every day with her older cousin. Her favorite part of the lyrics is at the end of each chorus: “Who can say if I’ve been changed for the better? I have been changed for good.”
Chelsea has a friend named Daryl. Daryl loves music too. Her favorite genres are pop, dance, and country. Her favorite song is Fearless by Taylor Swift. When she hears it playing she feels free and somehow unafraid. She listens to it when she's angry because it makes her feel better about everything. When she hears it she pictures love; enough to take risks and she thinks about happy memories of gymnastics.(Daryl is an excellent gymnast) Her favorite lines are "With you I'd dance in my best dress" and "head-first, fearless."
So why do people love music so much? It is a source of entertainment for many of us. We look, or should I say listen, to it when we need inspiration or maybe just a friend. I believe it's because music takes hold of us and makes us feel how we want to feel. When we're feeling bad about something we find just the right song that we know will cheer us up and we play it over and over again. Music is a beautiful art that enriches our lives.
